OUR BRAINS

Our brains operate at different frequencies, depending upon

what we are doing.

Delta waves occur in deep, dreamless sleep.

Theta waves are present between sleeping and waking, and in

those moments when a brilliant idea comes to us although we

seemed to be 'miles away'. These are the brainwaves of inspiration.

Have you ever had a wonderful thought on waking

and then lost it because you did not write it down?

Alpha waves appear when we are relaxed enough to allow

our thoughts to flow freely, and be creative,

Beta waves are busy, bossy brain waves, which dominate

when we are under pressure or being competitive.
